Postcard to Lulu Gilliland, Beaver, Ohio, 1909

A few notes about the Lulu Gilliland to whom this postcard was addressed:

Lulu Evelyn Gilliland was a descendant of Samuel and Sarah Krouskop Gilliland via their son Samuel, Jr. and Elizabeth Buckley. Her grandparents were William and Maria Dever Gilliland. Lulu's parents were Watson Gilliland and Minnie Westfall -- who is the "Minnie" mentioned in the postcard.

Text on the card:
"Hello folks -- we are at Aunt Frankie's & will be down to Beaver some time this week or next week. Mama got me a blue serge at Jackson to be trimmed in blue silk & buttons & Mama wants your Mama to make it for me. I have been riding horse-back a good deal since I saw you. Mama may get me a gingham for school & let Minnie make it. So have your work arranged. Good-bye Lillian Moser"
