Roy Gilliland Farm
The Roy Gilliland farm of Jackson County, Kansas was featured on the cover of Successful Farming in August 1952. From a short article inside the magazine itself we find that Roy's family included wife Stella, as well as sons Keith, 16, and Kenneth, 14.
Bob Janice provided the following information about the Roy Gilliland family featured in this magazine:
"As far as I can tell the Roy Gilliland you mentioned in your email is (to the best of my knowledge) Roy Albert Gilliland Jr. He married Stella Imogene Tutt and they had two children - Roy Keith Gilliland and Kenneth Lee Gilliland. The above pedigree information should be on my web site. Based on what I can see I would say that it is a certainty that your Roy Gilliland and the above are the same person."
