The Photo Album of Paul W. Gilliland: Pages from History

According to my Aunt Dorothy M. Gilliland Cooper, she was the last child born in the cabin built by Jackson County pioneer Samuel Gilliland. Dorothy was born in 1920. In this photo is the family of E. Cranston Gilliland, a son of Jackson Gilliland. From left to right, the children Harry M., Maud, and Blanche. On the right is their mother, Cranston's wife, Delia (Parks) Gilliland. My understanding is that the cabin (long since demolished) was located across from Jackson's house in Hamilton Township and slightly up hill. The back of the house was built into the hill.
