Anne's wedding to Roy Bristow at Eston, Saskatchewan, on April 3, 1951. From left: Roy's mother, Anne, Roy, Roy's sister Doris, Frank Nelson (Roy's neighbor), and flower girl Claire Johnston of Eston. The Bristows were pioneers of the Frog Lake area and had come from Gray County, Ontario. Roy Bristow, Anne's husband, was born February 25, 1922 and passed away September 25, 1989.

Prior to her marriage, Anne spent three years of study at Full Gospel Bible College in Eston. She then worked for the Bible College for three years as the secretary-registrar.
